Dr. Randi Torstenson is a Clinical Psychologist specializing in individual and couples psychotherapy and maintains a private practice in New York, NY.

Dr. Torstenson is currently serving as staff psychologist at Marymount Manhattan College where she conducts psychotherapy with undergraduate students, and provides psychoeducational workshops. She also supervises and trains clinical psychology doctoral-level graduate students. In her private practice, she works with a broad spectrum of clients in New York City. Among her areas of expertise are relationship concerns, depression and anxiety, young adults including college and university students, trauma and past abuse, life transitions, women's issues, artists and dancers, and LGBTQ issues.

In addition, Dr. Torstenson has presented at institutions such as Northwestern University, Columbia College, The University of Washington, Stony Brook University, Fordham University, and Marymount Manhattan College on topics such as building healthy relationships, suicide prevention, diversity awareness and sensitivity, navigating LGBTQ issues, and body image and eating disorders. Dr. Torstenson also volunteers at Doctors of the World Human Rights Clinic in New York City.
